Cursor Controls Ltd (CCL) is an inventor, designer and manufacturer of HMI (Human Machine Interface) solutions. Specifically, we design and manufacture industry leading trackballs, touchpads and hybrid touchpad/trackball devices.

Our roots go back over 75 years, being a direct descendant of Marconi who developed their first TRACKERBALL in 1942. This wealth of experience in HMI, combined with continuous improvement, innovation and new product development has ensured CCL retain the position of leaders in our field.

At CCL all design and manufacturing is carried out in-house, allowing us to oversee every phase of the product life cycle to ensure the highest quality and best performing products:

Trackballs

Offering the largest trackball range in the World, CCL have a pointing solution for every HMI application. Our product portfolio is hugely versatile, with products available in ball sizes from 13mm to 75mm, with optical, mechanical and laser tracking engines. Utilising leading edge patented technology solutions, such as anti-vibration and tap to click, CCL are able to offer literally thousands of trackball configurations.

Within the trackball group we have the Ruggedised Trackball range of products which are ideal for the most demanding and critical applications and environments. Our Ruggedised Solutions are Independently Qualified and Certified to a number of standards, including IEC 60945(Marine), DO-160(Aerospace), and MIL-STD810(Military).

In addition to our panel mount products, we offer high specification desktop trackballs – standalone devices incorporating features such as IP68 waterproof sealing, ruggedisation, backlighting, integrated switches and scroll wheel inputs.

Touchpads

As part of our ever expanding range of product offerings, CCL are delighted to introduce a new range of advanced touchpad solutions which provide smooth and precise cursor control using the latest capacitive technology. With no moving parts, these solid-state pointing devices are ideal for environments where contamination is commonplace. The touchpads are available in a variety of mounting styles, electrical outputs, overlay options and custom features.

Hybrid Solutions

CCL have combined our vast experience of HMI with feedback gained from consultation with manufacturers, industry experts and end users, to develop our most advanced input solution – the Touch-Track Hybrid range. Benefiting from multiple patented features/technologies, the Touch-Track Hybrid solutions are a combination of trackball, touchpad, gesture, and capacitive sensing technologies. Our Hybrid range is designed to provide unmatched functionality and customization.
