Expansion of the APC Technology Engineering Team

Sufyaan Faiz was initially hired in response to a need for APC to locate Electrical Engineers. We connected with The University of Adelaide University’s Career Services team to assist us in finding a graduate to support one of our senior design engineers working on a major project. The role was a temporary assignment.

Working in conjunction with Julia Atterton, Manager of Industry Engagement & Projects at the University, we were able to outline the type of candidates we were looking for and her team put together a number of pre-vetted applications for us to review. This process proved extremely successful because the initial handling of candidate applications was handled by Career Services and APC were only handed the best matched. Additionally Career Services ensured a targeted approach to their graduating cohort and ensured our role was promoted to them directly.

Sufyaan was identified as our preferred applicant and he has been with APC since early March of 2020. During his time at APC Technology, Sufyaan has been involved with a number of projects and used to assist other engineers as required. Sufyaan has now been made a permanent, and valued, member of the team as a Graduate Engineer.
